Most people know me as DJ Thriller.
For the past 15 years, I've been behind the decks at everything from packed nightclubs to intimate backyard weddings, and I've loved every minute of it. But there's something special about weddings.
When I watch a couple hit the dance floor for the first time as married partners, surrounded by everyone who matters most to them, I'm reminded why I got into this business in the first place.
I've been the DJ for over 80 weddings across Colorado, and each one has taught me something new.

The Journey to Thriller Event Group
I started DJing when I was still figuring out what I wanted to do with my life. A friend needed someone to handle music at a party, I borrowed some gear, and that was it. I was hooked.
The energy of a packed room, the way the right song at the right moment can completely change the vibe, the challenge of reading a crowd and delivering exactly what they need. It got under my skin.
Those early years were all about learning the craft. I played clubs and bars, corporate events and private parties. I learned how to mix properly, how to transition between songs so smoothly that people don't even notice we've changed genres.
I figured out that the difference between a good DJ and a great DJ isn't just about song selection. It's about timing, energy management, and knowing when to push the tempo and when to pull back.
Weddings came into the picture about ten years ago. A friend asked me to DJ their reception, and I realized this was where I wanted to focus my energy. The stakes are higher, the emotions run deeper, and when you get it right, the feeling is incredible.
I founded Thriller Event Group because I wanted to build something bigger than myself. Something reliable. Something couples could count on for the biggest celebration of their lives.

I'm a Colorado local, based right here in Pueblo. This isn't a side gig for someone flying in from out of state. Colorado is my home, and Colorado couples are my specialty.
I serve the entire state, from the Front Range to the Western Slope. For weddings in Denver, Boulder, or Colorado Springs, travel is included at no extra charge.
Being local means I know Colorado venues. I've worked The Pinery at the Hill, Cheyenne Mountain Resort, Garden of the Gods Club, and dozens more. I understand the acoustic challenges of barn venues versus ballrooms.
