Local Advantage

Why a Local Pueblo DJ
Makes a Difference

From my 15 years of experience and 80+ Colorado weddings, I've learned something important: local knowledge matters.

No Travel Fees for Pueblo

This is home, so you're not paying for gas or drive time. The price I quote is the price you pay—no hidden mileage charges or "travel surcharges."

Familiar with Local Venues

I've worked the Pueblo Country Club, Union Depot, and know what works in our local spaces. No guessing, no surprises—just a DJ who knows your venue.

Last-Minute Flexibility

Need to add an hour? Adjust the timeline? Change the playlist? Living here means I can adapt quickly. Out-of-town DJs can't offer this.

Community Connections

I understand Pueblo families and the traditions that matter here. When you hire me, you're getting a neighbor who genuinely wants your celebration to be amazing.

Experience Matters

What 15 Years of
Experience Brings

Here's what I've learned from DJing 80+ weddings across Colorado: every couple wants their reception to feel like their celebration, not a generic party.

Reading Your Crowd

Your guest list is unique. Maybe you have college friends who love current hits, parents who want classics, and grandparents who'll light up at the right Motown song. The difference between good and great is knowing when to shift gears.

Keeping the Energy Flowing

Your reception has a rhythm. Dinner needs background music that lets people talk. First dances need the right emotional moment. And when it's time to fill the floor, you need someone who knows how to build that energy without forcing it.

Handling the Unexpected

Microphones that cut out during toasts. Flower girls who need their own dance break. Playlists that need to change because the crowd's vibing differently. Experience means your wedding stays on track no matter what.

The Process

My Approach to Your
Pueblo Wedding

When you book me for your wedding, here's what you get—from the first meeting to the last dance.

Step 1

Planning Meetings

I'm local, so we can meet in person right here in Pueblo. We'll discuss your vision, your must-plays, and your do-not-plays over coffee.

Step 2

Timeline Review

We'll map out your entire reception flow — from grand entrance to last dance — so everything runs smoothly without you having to think about it.

Step 3

Music Planning

Your style, not mine. I'll learn what you love, what you hate, and build a playlist that sounds like your celebration.

Step 4

Vendor Coordination

I'll sync with your photographer, videographer, and venue coordinator. Since I'm local, I often already know them.

Step 5

Wedding Day

I show up early. Professional sound system, wireless mics, dance floor lighting, MC services. 5+ hours of making your guests dance.

My Promise

I show up early. I come prepared with backup equipment. I dress professionally. And I focus on making your guests dance and your celebration memorable.

Venue Experience

Pueblo Wedding Venues I Know

I've had the pleasure of working at venues throughout Pueblo and the surrounding area.

Pueblo Country Club

Elegant space with true Colorado character. I've worked multiple weddings here and know the ballroom acoustics, the patio flow, and the coordinator's expectations.

One of my favorite Pueblo venues to DJ.

Pueblo Convention Center

Perfect for larger celebrations. The big room needs the right sound coverage, and I bring equipment sized for the space.

Pueblo Union Depot

Historic landmark with stunning architecture. The acoustics in this space are unique — I know exactly how to work with them.

Olde Towne Carriage House

Charming and intimate setting. Smaller venues need a DJ who knows not to overpower the space.

Creekside Event Center

Beautiful natural surroundings. I've done outdoor ceremonies here and know the logistics of weather contingencies.

CSU Pueblo Ballroom

Modern and versatile space. Great for couples who want a contemporary feel with plenty of room for a packed dance floor.

Whether your wedding is at one of these established venues or a more personal location like a family property in Pueblo West, Rye, or Colorado City, my experience means I can adapt my setup and approach to make the most of any space.

Pueblo Wedding DJ FAQs

1

Booking & Travel

No. Pueblo is my home base. There are no travel fees, no mileage charges, nothing extra. The price I quote is the price you pay.
From my experience, 6-12 months is ideal, especially for peak season (May through October). That said, I've had couples reach out 3 months before their date and made it work. The sooner you book, the more time we have to plan your music properly.
Absolutely—that's one of the perks of hiring a local DJ. I'm happy to meet over coffee right here in Pueblo to discuss your vision. Many of my couples prefer face-to-face planning, and being local makes that easy.
2

Pricing & Packages

You get 5 hours of reception DJ and MC services, professional sound equipment, dance floor lighting, and all pre-wedding planning meetings. Setup and breakdown are included—no hidden fees. This package is ideal if your ceremony audio is handled separately.
Yes, the $1,900 Signature package includes full ceremony coverage with two wireless lavalier microphones for your officiant and vows. This gives you seamless audio from "I do" through the last dance.
A 50% deposit secures your date, with the remaining balance due two weeks before your wedding. After booking, you'll receive a welcome email with your contract, questionnaire link, and access to the DJ Planning Center app where you can build your playlist.
3

Venues & Setup

I've worked at the Pueblo Country Club, Pueblo Convention Center, and several private properties throughout the area. I'm also familiar with venues like the Pueblo Union Depot, Olde Towne Carriage House, and Creekside Event Center. Whether your venue is an established location or a family backyard, I bring the right equipment and adapt my setup to make the space work.
I offer off-grid power packages with a generator for $500. I've done outdoor ceremonies and receptions at properties without traditional power access. We'll discuss your venue's specifics during our planning meetings so there are no surprises.
4

Flexibility & Coordination

Yes. I'll coordinate with your photographer, videographer, venue coordinator, and caterer to make sure timing works for everyone. Since I'm local, I often already know the vendors working Pueblo weddings.
Being local gives me flexibility that out-of-town DJs can't offer. Need to add an hour? Change the timeline? Adjust the song list the week before? I can handle it. We'll have a final planning meeting two weeks before your wedding to lock everything in, but I stay flexible right up until the day.
